Urban Ecology Coalition

The Neighborhood Sustainability Indicators Project of the Urban Ecology Coalition began in 1997. It is coordinated by the Crossroads Resource Center, and has two purposes: to assist Minneapolis neighborhoods/communities that seek to become more sustainable to develop indicators to assess progress toward their own sustainability goals, and to encourage the City of Minneapolis to adopt resident-defined indicators of neighborhood sustainability as official neighborhood indicators. The project's Neighborhood Sustainability Indicators Guidebook is online as a PDF file.
