The Aspen Principles

The Aspen Institute Series on the Environment in the 21st Century program assembles groups of leaders in business, government, environmental organizations, and other public interest groups to explore the development a new environmental management system. As a result, the Aspen Institute created the Aspen Principles, a set of 11 principles that serve as a foundation for a program called the Alternative Path. This program introduces an innovative new way of approaching environmental protection and enhancement for business and industry.
